I’m Stephanie Little, the creator of SkullMoto Boutique. I’m married to my best friend Jared and have two beautiful children.
I’m a stay-at-home mom and I home school both of our children. I went to school for fashion design, merchandising, and jewelry design in the early 2000s and then worked at Nordstrom right after in the QA and Technical Design department.
What inspires you?
I’m absolutely inspired by nature: the gemstones, the colors, and the feel of it. We love to be outside and see the mountains around us.
Wedding season is my favorite; I love to create unique creations for the special moments in one’s life. I’ve sold to many bride-to-bes here in the states, Canada, and as far as Europe.
Where did the name for your store come from?
The name is from two of my favorite things: skulls and motorcycles. Hence, SkullMoto.
What is your mantra?
My mantra is thanking the Universe for everything: my wonderful family, my health, etc.
Just being thankful for everything that I have, as tomorrow is never promised. Do what you love now, never let anyone stop you from being who you are.
What product(s) are you most excited to offer via Scott’s Marketplace?
Handmade handbags, accessories, jewelry, and personalized gifts. I love to create unique items for everyday or special occasions.
Aside from your business, what are your hobbies?
I love to draw, paint, dance, cook, and rockhound with my hubby and kids. I also love to download a good game on my phone, curl up on the couch with a cup of coffee, and play!
What is your greatest accomplishment so far?
My family. My husband is so supportive of my creative side, he is always telling me to go for it! I have so many ideas floating around in my head and it’s been tough figuring out which direction I wanted to go.
It’s been a huge accomplishment for me to finally find that niche I was searching for.
What’s on the horizon next for your store?
Along with my beads, craft supplies, and jewelry, I’ll be offering more handbags, accessories, and apparel by 2018.
I’m excited for the designs I have for next year to come to life. Lots of vinyls and leather mixes. I’ll also be adding more men’s items such as wallets, gear, and suspenders.
