My name is Beth and I’m the creator of Nosy Rosy Card Co, a line of notecards featuring my dogs.
I live in the little town of Albion, PA. I have two grown children and four senior rescue Scottish Terriers, Suzie (12), Sadie (12), Sammie (16), and Junnie (9).
We (me and daughter Cate) love taking fun pictures of our Scotties in different settings and costumes. She is also my photo editor making the girls pop in their pictures.
We did it just for fun until a bunch of people expressed interest in having their photos made intoĀ cards. I am still trying to figure out what it takes to run a business and I am still learning from my missteps but I’m getting there.
What inspires you?Ā
Nature and my Scotties.
Where did the name for your store come from?
Whenever you bring anything into the house, be it groceries or new things, the Scottie girls have to stick their heads in and check your bags. It is like going through customs!
We started calling them Nosy Rosy’s when they did that and it seemed like the perfect name for my shop when I decided to go ahead with making cards.
What is your mantra?Ā
Unique Cards for Unique People.
What product(s) are you most excited to offer via Scottās Marketplace?Ā
Our notecards. We are always looking to add more, and are also going to be adding some new Steam Punk print cards from original drawings by my daughter Cate to sell on Nosy Rosy Card Co.
Aside from your business, what are your hobbies?
I garden, bothĀ vegetableĀ and flowers, and I also keep a small garden pond with fish. I love taking nature photos and, of course, pictures of the Scotties just for fun.
What is your greatest accomplishment so far?
Getting some of our products into an actual store.
Whatās on the horizon next for Nosy Rosy Card Co?Ā
We are looking forward to adding more cards, and in the future, we would also like to add frameableĀ printsĀ of some of our pictures to our store. Also looking forward to adding more of Cate’s original prints.
